Noah Lee (9/9/25, 5:08 AM):
Absolutely fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My children adore going there. Without a doubt, the best YMCA I have ever visited!
Terry Mitchell (9/9/25, 3:10 AM):
The classes at this gym are absolutely brilliant, mate! There's a proper wide range of activities to pick from. The instructors are dead friendly and they're always pushing us to give it our all and improve. The place is spotless, even the showers! Couldn't be more chuffed with the experience, definitely worth every penny for the whole fam!
Anna Walker (9/7/25, 9:07 PM):
Do not even bother trying to ring them up with any inquiries you might have as they will simply disconnect the call on you. Their customer service agent Jason and the so-called "supervisor" are absolutely dreadful.
Kevin Gray (9/6/25, 9:48 PM):
Definitely a well-maintained gym, mate, but it's a bit on the crowded side. The only downside for me would be the state of the lockers. Rust is all over the place, to the extent that the floor gave in on one locker.
Brenda Cooper (9/6/25, 8:33 AM):
The YMCA Glasgow is a brilliant spot to get yer workout in with yer family and mates! The trainers are friendly and pay close attention to everyone's needs to ensure that everyone is exercising at their own pace. The staff is welcoming and fosters a strong sense of community!
Brian Gray (9/5/25, 1:15 PM):
I must say, this gym is top-notch! The staff is so friendly and the classes are fantastic with great instructors. The variety of classes available is impressive. And when you consider everything you get for the cost, it's actually quite reasonable.
Carol Powell (9/3/25, 12:27 AM):
This gym is top-notch for fitness enthusiasts who value a family-friendly environment. The hours are ideal, catering to even the busiest working professionals. Even during peak times, you can still enjoy a satisfying workout. Plus, the cleanliness is on point.
Gregory Wright (9/2/25, 3:49 PM):
The staff seemed incapable or unwilling to prevent criminal activities. Management declined to help disgruntled customers. What was once a secure space with attentive employees has now become a haven for wrongdoers.
Amy Johnson (9/2/25, 3:43 AM):
This gym is spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this fantastic spot for your fitness needs.
Steven White (9/1/25, 6:31 AM):
The gym is indeed a melting pot of diversity. It offers assistance to disadvantaged youth and individuals with disabilities of all ages. I appreciate the opportunity for my family to engage with people from various socioeconomic backgrounds.
Chloe Reyes (8/31/25, 6:53 PM):
Aye, always a braw time at the gym, and it's a bonnie walk in Glasgow just across the street, perfect for mixin' it up with some cardio training!
Nathan Murphy (8/26/25, 5:12 AM):
Dreadful hours - constantly seeking excuses to shut down early or not open at all. The equipment is mistreated by youngsters and lacks proper maintenance. The cardio machines dominate the space. It's overpriced if you don't intend to participate in their classes, which are also plagued by inadequate scheduling and staffing.
Rachel Jenkins (8/26/25, 1:02 AM):
I enrolled my family in a gym membership around 8 years back. We absolutely love the fitness center, classes, sports activities, events, you name it! We have never encountered any problems whatsoever.
Andrew Reed (8/25/25, 10:10 AM):
The staff at this gym are top-notch, with a thorough understanding of all the resources available to support you in any situation. The facility is constantly improving, with new state-of-the-art exercise equipment being regularly added and professionally installed. Additionally, there is now more space for in-house programs and physical activities on a daily basis.
Bobby Sullivan (8/24/25, 3:57 PM):
There are plenty of programs designed for seniors, and all the instructors we've encountered so far have been very accommodating to my wife, who has some disabilities. They guide her through exercises in a modified manner so she can fully participate and still reap the rewards.
Peter Hill (8/23/25, 11:39 PM):
The trainers seem to spend more time chatting amongst themselves rather than assisting paying customers. The gym equipment appears a bit dated, and one of the cable machines always seems to be taking a day off, making it difficult to use them. The prices are steep, the reputation is overhyped, and the atmosphere lacks a welcoming touch.
Mark Powell (8/21/25, 5:01 AM):
Some folks never bother to re-rack the weights, and no one bats an eye. It's just common courtesy to put your weights back where they belong.
Lucy Taylor (8/18/25, 1:28 AM):
I recently joined the YMCA in Bear, Delaware, and I must say, the weight room was quite cramped, untidy, and not up to par. Frankly, my experience was rather disappointing. To add to that, even though I haven't been a member for more than 30 days, when I attempted to terminate my membership, they informed me that I would still be charged for the following month. This has left me feeling quite frustrated and wishing I had never signed up in the first place. I would advise against becoming a member of the YMCA based on my personal experience.
Lawrence Powell (8/17/25, 4:41 PM):
$100 for a family, 2 adults and all your little ones. This place is honestly the most incredible family center/gym you will ever find.
James Scott (8/17/25, 3:03 PM):
My lad holds a teen pass & he's a regular for sports at the gym. Summertime is here, and according to the website it shuts at 8pm... However, today my son was left standing outside at 6pm, as in reality the whole building shuts by 6pm, but lo and behold, only the outdoor pool shuts later at 8pm..If you happen to be indoors by 6pm on weekends, you must skedaddle by 6pm!
